Linda Allen Counselling and Healing, Helping with Stress Worry Fatigue Insecurity Anxiety and Grief


Linda Allen is a therapist with a comprehensive skill set, having worked in the area personal development and adult education with the ETB (Education Training Board) for over 10 years. She has supported adults in building confidence, resilience and self-awareness.  She has also worked in Child Protection for Tusla (Child and Family Agency) supporting children in the Care of the State. Currently Linda presents stress-resilience training to staff at Tusla with her partner Derek.

Integrated in her work is her training in the field of energy medicine having studied Reiki, Polarity Therapy, Transforming Cellular Memory and Massage. Coupled with training in psychology and frontline Counselling, this broad wealth of knowledge and experience and working with people in many diverse situations and environments enables Linda to come from a person centred-needs based perspective.  A natural empathiser and intuitive counsellor with great compassion and a capacity to hear what is been said beneath the words culminates in a powerful healing possibility in working  with Linda.

Linda has also recently published her first book which was a born out the tragic death of her teenage son by suicide. This is both an inspiring and uplifting account of renewal and restoration after tragedy.

With respect to all faiths and a passionate belief in the value of celebration, such as weddings, baby naming ceremonies, and even funerals,  Linda will add the most personal touch to your more.


Linda and her partner Derek run stress Resilience Clinics for employees with Tusla. The aim is to assist staff to understand the importance and value of looking after their mental health. This model is designed to deliver techniques which support people in accessing their resourcefulness and sharing skills and strategies that help identify stress triggers and change unhelpful responses. While the focus is on the workplace these skills can be applied to home and life in general.
